About this tour
Sri Lanka is Lanka, the kingdom of Ravana, and dozens of places across the island are identified with episodes of the Ramayana. This route follows them from the west coast temples at Munneswaram and Manavari, through the cultural triangle, and on to the hill country sites around Nuwara Eliya and Ella.
Pujas are arranged in advance at the principal temples and your guide is familiar with the tradition.

Day 1
Airport → Negombo (Night 1)
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your driver-guide. Visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple and Manavari Temple in Chilaw before transferring to Negombo for relaxation.

Day 2
Negombo → Sigiriya (Night 1 of 2)
After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya. En route, visit Ritigala Forest Monastery and the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 3
Sigiriya & Surroundings (Night 2)

Sigiriya → Kandy (Night 1)

Ramayana Sites in Nuwara Eliya (Night 2)
